Custom Made-to-Fit 4 Inch Box Slide-Out Shelf

Make the most of your cabinet space with a slide-out shelf built just for you. The Slide-A-Shelf 4 Inch Box Slide-Out Shelf features non-tapered, wraparound Baltic birch sides to help keep everyday essentials organized and within easy reach.

Available in widths from 6 to 36 inches in precise 1/8-inch increments, with eight depth options, each shelf is made to fit your cabinet’s clear opening width and interior depth. Choose the Small, Medium, or Large option in our store based on your needs, then select the size that fits your cabinet. The 4-inch sides add containment for items in kitchens, pantries, bathrooms, laundry rooms, linen closets, and garage cabinets.

Full-extension steel ball-bearing rails bring the entire shelf within reach, are rated for 100 pounds and are available with our without a soft closing feature. Quality Baltic Birch wood construction and a durable, easy-to-clean melamine shelf base, provide lasting function and a clean, coordinated look.

Installation takes just minutes with a screwdriver or drill. Mount the slide-out to the cabinet base or an existing full-depth shelf using the included installation template.

Add an optional 8 Inch High Back to help keep items neatly contained as your slide-out moves in and out of the cabinet. Each panel is made to fit the slide-out shelf it’s ordered with. Be sure your cabinet has enough vertical clearance to accommodate the 8 inch panel. High Backs must be ordered with a slide-out shelf.

Our custom retrofit shelves are ideal for just about any cabinet in your home, garage and office. Please review the Dimension Specifications for limitations.
The Slide-A-Shelf product uses glide rail systems that are easily secured to the flat floor of your cabinet and/or any existing full shelf you currently store items on.
If no shelf exists to secure to or you have an existing half shelf, you have three options:
1. Measure the interior wall-to-wall, front-to-back space and have your local home center cut some shelving material to be secured in place prior to installing the slide-out. (RECOMMENDED)
2. Perform what is referred to as a wall or side mounting of our slide-out by furring out and/or shimming the side walls to be flush with the opening, thus allowing the rails to be secured to the interior walls vs. the existing shelf. (ONLY RECOMMENDED FOR SKILLED CARPENTERS)
3. Consider purchasing a Slide-A-Shelf Specialty Item, Multi-Tiered Tower (2 or 3 level) or Double Dek™ unit.
Our Medium 4 Inch Box Slide-Out Shelves are manufactured in 1/8 increments¹ for cabinet clear openings² with the following limits:
• Minimum Width: 15 1/8 inches • Maximum Width: 25 inches • Minimum Interior Depth: 16 ¾ inches • Maximum Interior Depth: 24 inches
Please note: ¹For the depth you will measure the exact clear measurement to the nearest 1/8 inch and round down to the nearest 1/2" increment for your depth choice. I.e. 16 1/2, 17 1/2, etc. ²We do not require the height measurement of your cabinet openings for slide-out shelves however, be aware you will need a minimum of 7 inches to use even the smallest screwdriver for installation.
